A new beach face for Kalifornien

Our colleagues responsible for the project, Matthias Schmidt and Bastian Fletschinger, were accompanied by Astrid Schmidt, editor of the Kieler Nachricht, on their last on-site appointment in Kalifornien. The occasion was the timely start of the first construction phase in the Baltic Sea resort of Schönberg. The reconstruction of the bridge at Verwellengrund and the addition of a pedestrian bridge will give the entrance to California a new and, for a Baltic seaside resort, contemporary look.
