"Finally a lid on it" were the headlines after the opening of Dorothea Buck Park in autumn 2022, our latest project in Hamburg. A roof without noise, that's what the people in Hamburg's Schnelsen district on the right and left of the open motorway ditch have long wanted. Where once the traffic noise pushed along in the open air, today a vegetative biodiversity thrives. Residents meet, neighbourhood children play football in safety, and the first allotment gardeners are already growing fruit and vegetables.
